The Baby Planter
3D printed with PLA

This planter was first commissioned by a Paphiopedilum spicerianum dwelling among stone bark. Its former plastic pot had grown ill-fitted and unsightly, and so a relocation was in order—thus the baby-faced planter came into being.
The vessel bears no bottom hole; instead, its base may hold a small reserve of water. When the measure grows too great, the excess is cried out through the eyes and nose. In this way, the design preserves moisture without causing rot, keeping the air flowing and the roots at ease.
Its orchid resident has dwelled within for over half a year and speaks most highly of it. Therefore, the Chamber has resolved to release this enchanted planter to the marketplace.
